Today we started with our first King/Queen of the day. We begin King/Queen by looking at the objects in one of the white bags that everyone brought in and try to guess who the King/Queen could be. Then we have that person come up, we cheer their name and interview them to get to know a little bit about them. We finish up our King/Queen celebration by having each child draw a picture of the King/Queen to staple into a book. It sure is fun!
Our first King of the day (who opted not to wear a crown) was Michael. We learned that Michael likes to play with his dog, even though his dog is kind of stinky. His favorite color is orange and his favorite animal is a cat.
