Fisrt Week of School Activities

As a way to ease these cute first graders into staying at school ALL DAY, we had some fun
activities each afternoon for the first week of school. The first day of school we got to know each other by sharing a bit about ourselves and sharing a picture of our families. This was followed
by a tea party and playing with toys from home for a few minutes. On Thursday we had a fun
Beach Day where we got to rotate to 8 different stations. These included playing in sand,
racing on scooters, several different water stations, and playing with a parachute. On Friday
we had a Camp Day. As part of Camp Day we got to eat smores, hear ghost stories,
go on a treasure hunt, make shadows, go fishing and do relay races. We had lots of fun and
sure appreciate all the parent helpers that made these fun days possible!
